Knitter Family More to be added

Web 4 June 1, 2017 This website is my personal website. The first purpose is to document the history of my father’s Knitter family. At a later date my mother’s Matthews family will be added. Other families may eventually be added. This website has been developed using Microsoft Word. Those web pages displaying family descendants or ancestors have been made using PAF5, a program developed by the Church of the Later Day Saints. This website used material from websites en.wikipedia.org, pl.wikipedia.org, and polishroots.com. It also referenced the book by H. W. Koch, A History of Prussia. Note: This website has a significant section relating to the history of Konitz, West Prussia from where August Julius Knitter emigrated. It also now includes August’s father, Johann, and his mother and siblings. An effort was made to show both German and Polish spellings for locations. Usually the Polish name appears in parentheses.
